Mushroom Coffee: Ingredient Review Hold
Audit hold: The former lion’s-mane extract coffee recipe is withdrawn pending a specified product and ingredient-suitability review. Its powder amount, hot-water mixing, tasting, daily titration and consumption instructions are removed, along with the Recipe card and Recipe markup. The mocha, chaga, cordyceps, reishi, two-mushroom blend, almond-butter or coconut-oil blend and hot-latte variants inherit this hold. No substitute supplement amount is provided.
The botanical drink review also withdraws its ashwagandha and reishi preparation directions; only the fresh holy basil cooler retains a method.
Lion’s mane is also a culinary mushroom, but this page recommended a concentrated fruiting-body extract, not a measured cooked culinary mushroom. A teaspoon does not establish mass, extract concentration or equivalence between products. A food history cannot resolve those differences.
Recipe References and Their Limits
Minimalist Baker’s mushroom latte is a useful culinary comparison with a specific powder recommendation and different coffee-to-milk ratio. It does not establish that any lion’s-mane extract, chaga, reishi or cordyceps product is an interchangeable ingredient, or that the combination is suitable for every reader. This hold addresses product identity and suitability, not the ordinary latte flavor ratio.
NCCIH supplement guidance explains that commercial products may differ from studied preparations and can pose interaction or suitability concerns. No claim that this drink prevents crashes, improves focus, boosts immunity, increases stamina or calms the nervous system remains. Added fat is not established here as a bioavailability control.
Other Confirmed Errors
A shot of espresso plus four fluid ounces water is not generally the same volume as one cup of coffee. The former drink also contained more than two cups liquid before ice, so an unspecified tall glass filled two-thirds with ice could overflow. Powders may suspend rather than dissolve, and fifteen seconds of stirring cannot be promised to dissolve any product. A spoon measurement alone does not tell a reader the supplement dose.
The fruiting-body superiority claims, brand and cost recommendations, powder storage promise and assurance that early digestive effects almost always resolve are removed. Product-specific labeling and qualified suitability review remain unresolved. This page provides no active tasting or consumption procedure.
